Has anyone actually fixed this game and it's issues with infinite loading screens? This is the first time I'm experiencing it. Before it was just problems with performance I'm kinda in love with GTA IV right now but the fact that I can't get past this specific mission is destroying my vibe. ;( Already tried using launch commands as everyone mentioned everywhere but they didn't worked out.

So your problem would be solved by opening notepad. Paste these two lines in there>. -width 1920 -height 1080. Save document as commandline and move it to your GTAIV folder (default c:\program files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto IV\GTAIV). Then run the game and check it out.

Its possible you are missing files. To verify cache, right click the steam game in the list, properties, Local files tab and find the verify cache button. Click it and wait till it finishes. It will download any corrupted/missing files. As for the other stuff, it was too long ago to remember.

It may be a corrupt file causing the infinite loop. I had that with FC3. No, I've re installed it a few times and the same thing, I start a new game and it gets stuck on the loading screen. Weird thing is that it doesn't crash, just keeps looping. If all else fails man, Theirs a mod that bypasses the start intro screens.
Affected players are reporting on the several online forums that whenever they try entering into any Agency building, the GTA Online game suddenly goes into infinite loading black screen. Due to this issue, players have to start the game again after waiting for some time. It looks like that the issue doesn’t fix automatically goes away at all.

Somehow when I run the game in windowed mode it maintains the aspect ratio but when I switch to fullscreen it goes back to 16:9 streched And windowed mode is unplayable because really bad fps as well as the border/taskbar showing. Would appreciate help. I have Windows 11. And the GTA IV just is not willing to let me use the mouse. The game mouse is stuck on the side of the screen and the Windows mouse moves regardless of the game itself! I have no controller at all and no controller is connected. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the game and nothing works.

Right: Go to your XMB and navigate to "Games". Go onto [Game Data Utility] Find the GTA V installation. Press Triangle and hit delete. This won't effect your Save Data nor online stats, it will only uninstall the game. Go onto your game, do any updates, and the game will reinstall the data.
